Ian Westmoreland PhD (right), owner of Aston Property Inspection, has been involved in construction projects for over twenty years. Starting his working life as a carpenter and picture framer back in the late 1980's, he took a unique career path that eventually led to a PhD in chemistry, an appointment at UC Berkeley, and a term in Silicon Valley. Having left the frenetic work of scientific research behind, he returned to his first love: buildings and their construction. Ian Westmoreland is a fully qualified and certified member of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI), and operates Aston Property Inspection according to clearly set-out Standards of Practice and a strict Code of Ethics. |
